Sombré, the new color trend for 2015

The Californian highlights trend is now over. Maison Eduardo Sanchez reveals the new color hair trend that will sweep this year. Welcome the Soft Ombré or “sombré”. The “sombré” effect is a more subtle version of ombré. A new colouring technique that allows a softer and more natural color diffusion. Its faded look with lighter highlights adds the color gradually from the top to the bottom. The objective is a lighter hair with a natural result.

To get the “sombré” effect we have to consider the color of the skin and hair. According to that, we can mix from one to several different tones. To do so, you can use the professional hair tint bowl of Termix and the soft black fiber tint brush of Termix to mix it up and get the precise color. “Sombré” is best suited to people with mid to long hair, at least shoulder length.

The best way  to get the perfect “sombré”:

  •  This technique works with very thin highlights. For its application, use the titanium comb 860 of Termix to get the required precision.
  • According to the desired color, we can applicate one tone or mix two or three similar to get more volume.
  • The different locks of hair intertwine and alternate, but this can include different colors in a same highlight.

Celebrities that already use it:

Lily Aldridge or Caroline de Maigret are example of celebrities that use “sombré”.
