THE HAIR TOOLS
HAIR DRYER
This hair tool will accompany you for years and years of hairstyles, so choosing a professional one will be the best decision. The temperature control of the Termix 4300 professional hair dryer, its precise air flow and its ergonomics and light weight are elements that will help you if you use it regularly, both for the health of your hair and for your arm and back.
THERMAL BRUSH
A good thermal round brush is essential when blow-drying, as they retain heat better and act more quickly. Thus, less friction is made with the hair, breakage is avoided. The Termix Evolution range also offers a brush for each type of hair, depending on whether it is long, fine, thick, or fragile. In this case, we will use the Gold Rose brushes for dull and porous hair. With them we bring health and shine to the hair.
On the other hand, when it comes to selecting the brush you should know that, if the diameter is smaller, you will be able to create styles with very consistent waves or curls, unlike large brushes that facilitate straightening.
PRE BRUSHING
1. DETANGLE THE HAIR
The first thing we are going to do is untangle the hair. For this we are going to use the Detangler spray. It is very important that when untangling we use a suitable product, with a strengthening anti-breakage formula.
To apply it we can do it in two ways. Spraying the product directly on the hair, or spreading it first on the hands. We begin to untangle the hair always from the middle to the ends. Or starting straight from the ends if it’s too tangled.
2. PROTECT
Before drying it is important to protect the hair. Shieldy is a thermo protector that, being a spray format, is much more comfortable to use and reaches all parts of the hair. We can use it on wet or dry. In addition, it facilitates drying and provides a moisturizing and anti-static action for softer and more luminous hair.
3. REMOVE HUMIDITY FROM THE HAIR
Before blow-drying with a round brush, we must remove moisture from the hair. To help us, we are going to use the Gold Rose thermal flat brush. Above all, it is important to always keep a distance between the dryer and the brush, never in contact. To give more volume at the roots we will use the brush lifting the hair from the root.
4. SEPARATE INTO SECTIONS
When separating the strands, it’s important to use good tweezers that hold the hair well so that they don’t break it or leave marks. With the Soft Touch hair clips we can collect a large amount of hair and treat it with respect. First we make two big sections, and we work with the bottom one first.
THE CORRECT USE OF THE ROUND BRUSH
1. BIDIRECTIONAL
We take sections of the hair that we will wind on the brush. Then, dry each strand of hair diagonally. We dry each strand to one side. This will give us a lot of movement to the hair. The strands at the front should always go out.
2. LONG LASTING
If you want the hair wave to last longer, we can use several brushes. When you’re done drying a section, don’t unroll it. The thermal effect of the brush will continue to act to lengthen the blow-drying work. Let the brush cool down with the hair wrapped around it. We save time and extend its effect! And if you want to go faster, you can also finish drying your hair with the cold air of the dryer.
3. VOLUME: ¿YES OR NO?
Not everyone wants volume in their hair. So if that’s the case for you, direct the air from the dryer above the root. On the other hand, to create more volume in the bangs, we will blow-dry the entire front section forward first, then back.
And then, when using a fixing product, we will make sure to use one that doesn’t weigh down. Termix Windy hairspray fixes and adds volume to create light looks with visible elasticity.
4. THE ENDS OF THE HAIR
If you want the wave with the end of the hair smoother, what we will do is work the strand and dry only halfway, marking only the middle.
5. NATURAL
Another trick is to use two different sizes of brushes. With the large brush measure we will obtain the large curl. The small size of the brush will be the one that will support the structure of the hairstyle, and thus it will last longer.
