Here, the stylist suggests a vertical brushing that will transform the model’s hair, with trendy messy waves and elegant curtain bangs.

Once the hair is knots free, it’s time to remove all superficial humidity from it. To do this, Landry Agres uses the Termix Compact Professional Hairdryer 4300 at medium power to avoid a direct and long exposure to high temperature that would damage the hair. Now that it’s dryer, we can divide it all in 4 different strands.

Using the Termix Soft Touch clips and with the helpful Titanium Comb 802 (or using the pick from the Professional Black brush), Landry separates the back part of the head in three, with two strands on the upper side and one on the neck. The bang must remain free for now, to acquire its natural shape.

We’ll start the brushing with the lower part of the hair, on the neck area. Landry uses the wide concentrator nozzle of the hairdryer, and focuses on the roots. Then, with the Professional Black hairbrush in a vertical position (perpendicularly to the hair), he gives a half-twist to create a moving wave without giving too much volume to the roots.

He then applies the same move to every strand, apart from the bang, for now. Another major trick relies on the alternative cold and hot air flow while brushing, as the heat is giving shape and the cold is fixing it.

With the combined action of the brush and the hairdryer, we’ll sharpen the bang, splitting it right in the middle to enforce a straight face line. Then, with cold air, we will ensure the separation for long and give a super trendy curtain bang. As for the stylish final touch, Landry breaks the wave with a boar bristles brush to “avoid any frizz effect” and enlighten the natural glow of the hair. Smart!
