CELEBRATE THE PRIDE PARTY WITH THESE VOLUMINOUS WAVES
Learn how to make a hairstyle based on waves with volume and textured ends, ideal to celebrate PRIDE month and see yourself with a spectacular look!
Although we like to encourage you to bring out your most creative side throughout the year, June is undoubtedly the month to be most proud of yourself. And proof of this is the celebration of LGTBIQ+ Pride Day on June 28.
At Termix we defend breaking with the canons that do not allow us to act or show ourselves as we are. For this reason, we launched the #VidasEnColor solidarity campaign to support the LGTBIQ+ community, highlighting the importance of self-acceptance and personal care.
THE PRIDE LOOK
We present you an ideal hairstyle to celebrate the PRIDE party together with the model and artist with great hair Lara Sajen, who debuts as an ambassador for Termix.
It is about undone waves and textured ends, and a side updo through hooked braids, which is complemented with a pearl accessory. Perfect to shine!
To do the hairstyle, the stylist uses the tools that we have launched for the #VidasEnColor solidarity campaign: a bag with multiple hairdressing tools in the colors of the rainbow.
STEP BY STEP
BRUSHING WITH THERMAL BRUSH
First of all, and as an obligatory step before using any heat tool, we spray with the Shieldy thermo protector. It is enriched with argan oil, so it moisturizes and provides an anti-static action, as well as creating an invisible film for total hair protection.
After separating several strands of hair and holding them with the Pride tweezers, we proceed to blow-dry with a thermal brush and a hair dryer.
WAVE
With the blow-drying we have done, we have the hair ready for the most important step: creating waves with Termix 230º hair straighteners. It is about selecting strands and, with the hair straightener holding it vertically, turning it as we slide it through the strand.
Then, if we want to add more waves to the upper part, we can use the electric curling iron.
UNDO THE WAVE
Once the waves are made, we place the hair extensions that we will have waved in the same way as the hair. And with a curls comb, we undo the wave a little. In this way, we will mix the natural hair with that of the extensions.
SIDE BRAID
To make the side braid we only have to take three strands from the fringe or front part. We will have to add strands on each side and always pass them under the braid. That is, when the braid ends on the left side, we will take a strand of hair from that same side to braid it below to the right side. In this way, the result of the braid will be visible to the outside.
It’s time to place the accessory! You can place the accessory that best suits your personality: diamonds, feathers, glitter, earrings…
FIX AND SHINE
To fix this spectacular hairstyle we will spray a touch of Sexy hairspray all over the hair. It is a strong hold and long-lasting hairspray, perfect for protecting hair from humidity, ideal for those hairstyles that need to be kept intact throughout LGBTIQ+ Pride Day (or any summer party or festival!).
