How to properly clean up your termal brushes? How to sterilise them? Can we do it at home?In this post we are going to resolve these doubts so as to lengthen the useful life of brushes and encourage a healthy and clean brushing.We will also show you how to keep it clean for longer periods of time in your hair salons.

1. Take the dirty brush and begin by removing the hair stuck between the teeth of the brush by hand.

2. With the help of a brush cleaner like Termix’s, we remove all the remaining hair in the brush. The brush should be totally clean without any remaining hair.

3. Soak the brush with lukewarm water so as to soften up the rests of the product stuck on the tube.

4. Apply some soap between the bristles of the brush and start to rub with the help of the cleaning brush that you previously used.

6. Once clean, leave allow to stand with the foam for some minutes and proceed to rinse with plenty of water.

7. Dry the brush with a towel or cloth, softly putting pressure on it.

How to sterilise it?

The usual thing to do would be to place them in a sterilizer under ultraviolet light. In case you don’t possess such engine, you could as well use each of the three following home-made methods by mixing:

Cramic brushes 1/2 cup of white vinegar + 1/2 cup of warm water

Cramic brushes 1/4 cup of ammonia +1 cup of warm water

Cramic brushes 1/6 cup of tea tree oil + 1 cup of warm water.
